The club have recently agreed with Physio Norwich that we will receive a flat rate fee of £25 meaning we have a 36% discount on initial appointments and a 30% discount on all follow up appointments!
This is great news for us as swimming is prone to minor injuries which slowly get worse if left untreated. The clinic has trained staff to perform physiotherapy to help with sports injuries and further prevention.
What’s more is that the clinic is only a 15 minute walk from UEA. Please see the website for directions and contact information regarding appointments.
A huge welcome to all the Freshers that will be joining UEA in September!
If you’re interested in being part of a fantastic and friendly team, then you have come to the right place. UEA SC is a club which caters for all – whether you’re aiming for national times or to simply keep-fit.
Joining a sports club is the best way to make the most of your uni experience as you meet new people of different ages and get involved in a completely different side of uni life!

The swimming club is now one of five focus sports at the university. This means a number of things. We now have access to more funds, which will enable us to get more pool time, both for social and performance based swimmers and an increased amount of competition opportunities.
The club can continue to grow within the university community, by catering for a wider range of students, whether they want to learn to swim or head for the Commonwealth Games. It also enables the club to become more active in the Norwich community, working with schools, Active Norfolk and a number of other organisations. Now with volunteering opportunities working with schools and coaching and teaching qualifications being more accessible, our members CV’s can be made even more appealing!
We would like to congratulate this years and last years committee for all their hard work and bringing an even more promising future for the swimming club!
